Today I headed off to an early studio visit with Sandrine Hattata in Le Marais. I always prefer the studio to the gallery because you can feel the energy of the work: the choices, the inspirations and value of creativity. Here you see her encaustic paintings and drawing in which she appropriates selections from Master works. As for the rest of the Marais, make sure to bring your patience and a discriminating eye. There is a lot of overly commercial art.
